Drashti Shah, PT, DPT, MSPT, BPTh, Clinic Director

Drashti has obtained part of her physical therapy education in India, her Master’s degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York. She strives to be a perfectionist, and her eye for detail helps her make the clinic a very organized structure to work in. Drashti strongly believes in team work, and hopes to make the clinic a professional, yet friendly environment to be in for both, her co-workers and clients. She has special interest in orthopedic manual physical therapy, and likes to work with clients of all ages. She also believes in getting to the root cause of problems and her passion helps drive her clients to reaching their prior level of functioning without re-injury. Outside of the clinic, Drashti is a crafter, an amateur landscape photographer, a travel enthusiast and loves to sip a cup of coffee on mountain tops!

Nadia Temple, PT, MPT

Nadia is a Bay Area native. She is a graduate of UC Berkley and received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. She has been practicing outpatient physical therapy in the Bay Area for 23 years, and has worked for PRN for 16 years. Her favorite part about being a physical therapist is watching previously fearful and unfit patients become motivated about living healthy and functional lives simply by learning about their own bodies and making a few adjustments. While not working, Nadia is a busy mom to three teenagers who fill her life with sports and music. When she can get some spare time, she likes to plan vacations and travel, cook, exercise, eat, sing, watch PBS, and watch baseball.

Janki Patel, PT, DPT

Janki is a Bay Area native and graduated from UC Davis for her bachelor’s degree. Prior to immersing herself in physical therapy, she worked in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. She then went on to Regis University for her physical therapy degree. She completed clinical affiliations in inpatient acute care, pediatric rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic settings, including some in rural areas of Colorado. Janki believes in treating the whole person (cura personalis) and enjoys teaching patients healthy lifestyle habits in order to take charge of their physical and mental well-being. Some of Janki’s professional interests include pediatrics, orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation. She also aided in completing research in physical therapy care with acute spinal cord injury patients during her time at Regis. In spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, painting, and cheering for the Warriors.

Vanessa Elizarrey, PTA

Vanessa graduated from Ohlone College’s Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2018 and is a native of the Bay Area. She has a passion for learning and looks forward to taking continuing education classes to keep up to date with the latest techniques and advancements to help her patients progress and meet their personal goals. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and cheering on her favorite hockey team.
